The role ensures that evidence based, multi disciplinary care is delivered in accordance with professional standards, with consistent oversight of medicines management, physical health monitoring, nutrition and the fundamentals of care. They ensure effective clinical risk assessment, safeguarding, incident management and learning from adverse events, supporting investigations and service improvement activity.
